Best Gluten-Free Places to Eat in Maine 

I love visiting Maine since it's so close to Boston and has so many great gluten-free options! As I explore more of Maine, I'm sure this list will grow and there will be a part 2. Check out @glutenfree_juliag on instagram to see pictures of the food I ate at each restaurant! 

 

Cliff House

      • A beautfil hotel literally on a cliff, it makes for a spectacular lunch and dinner backdrop! A great menu with labeled gf and a dedicated fryer.

The Boathouse

      • Sitting right on the water, a great place for drinks in the heart of the shops in Kennebunkport. Be prepared for a wait, but there's plenty to see while you do!

Beachfire Bar & Grille

      • A casual eatery with every time of food you could imagine - 95% of which can be made gluten-free!

The Clam Shack

      • Voted best lobster roll, The Clam Shack lives up to the hype. Large chunks of fresh lobster that you can get with mayo, butter, or both!

Big Daddy's Ice Cream

      • Delicious homemade ice cream with multiple locations! They had a list of safe flavors, and were happy to get a fresh scooper and ice cream container.

Maiz

      • Perfect on-the-go eats that will still be satisfying. Columbian street food never disapoints!

Maine Oyster Company

      • The freshest oysters and raw bar around. They even offer oyster shucking classes!

      • An incredible upscale (get it?) restaraunt for a fancier night out.

The Sinful Kitchen

      • Celiac safe gluten-free waffles? Sign me up! I've been dreaming about them ever since (along with the rest of their brunch menu).

      • Dedicated gluten-free doesn't get any better than this! I still can't get over the fact that I could order crepes.
